These terms of service (ToS) and terms and conditions govern your use of this site, the FencePress Plugin and FencePress Mobile Applications

Please read this document carefully before accessing or using the site, the FencePress Plugin and FencePress Mobile Applications.

By accessing or using the site, the FencePress Plugin and FencePress Mobile Applications you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth below. If you do not wish to be bound by these terms and conditions, you may not access or use our products.

Product Delivery

Our digital products are delivered instantly via email to your inbox. On rare occasions an email can get delayed or missed or it can end up in your spam / junk folder. If you do not receive an email containing the product download links within a few hours after the order, please contact us and we will send you fresh download links.


The FencePress Plugin and FencePress Mobile Applications has been tested to make sure that they works seamlessly with an average WordPress installation. However, because there are millions of combinations of plugins and themes, we can not guarantee our products to work with every combination. We can only guarantee our products to work with a fresh default install of WordPress.

We will work with all users who experience any problems to find the part of the site that is stopping our product from working.

Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you have any questions, concerns, or problems, please contact us.

If you have an issue that we cannot resolve, we will refund you within 30 days from the date of purchase. After 30 days, no refunds will be given.

We cannot provide refunds due to technical issues unless you allow us to adequately try and assist you. If we are unable to resolve the issue for you, we will provide a refund.

Please open a support ticket by sending us an email at [email protected] before requesting a refund for a technical issue.

No refunds will be granted if you simply decide not to use the purchased products. We stand behind our products and services and we will assist you in solving any problem you have, but we also expect you to adequately understand what you are purchasing and why.

Refunds do not apply to product upgrades or annual renewals.

Please note that by purchasing the FencePress Plugin, you agree to the terms of the Refund Policy.

Software License

By using the FencePress Plugin, you agree to be bound by the terms of this license. If you have any questions about the terms below, please contact us for clarification.

  1. You must have paid FencePress.com to use the FencePress Plugin.
  2. FencePress.com retains all intellectual property rights to the FencePress Plugin.
  3. Installation
    1. Blogger License: You are granted the right to install the FencePress Plugin on 1 website.
    2. Webmaster License: You are granted the right to install the FencePress Plugin on 30 websites, limited to domains you or your customers own.
    3. Agency License: You are granted the right to install the FencePress Plugin on as many websites as you want, limited to domains you or your customers own.
  4. You are granted the right to freely modify the FencePress Plugin for your own personal use, limited to use on only those domains you own.
  5. You may not use code snippets from the FencePress Plugin elsewhere.
  6. You may not re-distribute (either freely, or for any kind of compensation) the FencePress Plugin, in whole or in part, to any third party.
  7. You expressly acknowledge and agree that use of the FencePress Plugin is at your sole risk. No warranty is provided, either express or implied.

We reserve the right to deny support and updates if you are found to be misusing a license.

Software Updates

Updates for FencePress Plugin are included for free for 1 year after the initial purchase.

If you have a valid and active license key and your WordPress installation supports it, updates will be delivered automatically from the WordPress dashboard. If your WordPress installation does not support automatic upgrades, then updates can be downloaded from the download page at https://fencepress.com

Updates for FencePress Mobile Applications are delivered for free directly from Apple iTunes Store and Google Play Store, depending on your mobile device’s platform.

Support Services

Our support contract is simple, we give support to whoever purchased the product from us.

We try to reply to all customer support queries within 48 hours of posting on weekdays. Please note that we do not offer support via instant messaging due to time zone differences.

Support for purchased FencePress Plugin is given up to 1 year after the purchase date. If you wish to get support after 1 year, you must renew your license key, or purchase a new license.

We will only ever talk to the person who directly purchased from us. If you are using a third party developer for your project she/he will have to go through you as we won’t recognise that person.

We reserve the right to deny support if you are found to be misusing the customer support site or spamming the customer support site with unrelated content. IP addresses are recorded to detect accounts that are being shared. We reserve the right to block shared or misused accounts.

Server Setup

The FencePress Plugin require that you have a properly configured server setup with PHP, the PHP GD Library and MySQL. In most cases this is something you don’t have to worry about as your web host will provide you with a properly configured server but sometimes we do see users using badly configured server or a special setup where things don’t work as normal. If you are using some WordPress plugins on your site without any issue then it is safe to assume that our plugins will work fine on your server.

In order to get support your server must be online where it can be accessed using your domain name as we don’t offer support for local installations.

Technical Support

The questions need to be very specific to troubleshooting issues only, where a feature is not working as stated. If an advertised feature doesn’t work as advertised then you can post that issue and we will look at it and fix it as needed.

We cannot teach or consult you on how to best setup a WordPress site as part of our technical support. We also cannot give you all kinds of project specific customisation support for free. That is not what we call “free technical support”.

Site Access

If you experience a problem that can not be fixed by following our instructions, it may be required that we access your site to test, isolate and rectify / advise you of our findings. Failure to supply or allow access will result in us being unable to assist you.


All details obtained during registration, ordering or other activity with our products are held with the strictest confidence. We will never sell or give your information to any external companies or sites.

You are prohibited from using any services or facilities provided in connection with this site to compromise security or tamper with system resources and/or accounts. The use or distribution of tools designed for compromising security (e.g. password guessing programs, cracking tools, network probing tools, etc.) is strictly prohibited. If you become involved in any violation of system security, FencePress.com reserves the right to release your details to system administrators at other sites in order to assist them in resolving security incidents. FencePress.com reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of these Terms of Service.

Limitation of Liability

In no event will FencePress.com be liable for:

  1. any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages (including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, business interruption, loss of programs or information, and the like) arising out of the use of or inability to use the FencePress.com’s site or any information, or transactions provided on the service, or downloaded from the FencePress.com’s site, or any delay of such information or service. Even if FencePress.com or its authorised representatives have been advised of the possibility of such damages, or
  2. any claim attributable to errors, omissions, or other inaccuracies in the service and/or materials or information downloaded through the service. Because some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, the above limitation may not apply to you. In such states, FencePress.com liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law. FencePress.com makes no representations whatsoever about any other web site which you may access through this one or which may link to this site. When you access a non-FencePress.com web site, please understand that it is independent from FencePress.com, and that FencePress.com has no control over the content on that web site. In addition, a link to a FencePress.com web site does not mean that FencePress.com endorses or accepts any responsibility for the content, or the use, of such web site.
  3. we accept no liability, implied, or otherwise, should the use of our products or services cause damage, downtime, loss of earnings or any other negative impacts to your blog/site in any instance when using the FencePress Plugin and FencePress Mobile Applications. It is your responsibility to keep a regular backup of your database and/or relevant files so that if the worst does happen, you can use your backup to bring your blog/site back online.

We will be more than happy to offer support and assistance where possible to resolve any issues your site may have. However, it is you responsibility to ensure that you always have a backup of your site’s files, databases and other information before making any changes.


You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless FencePress.com and any third party information providers to the Service from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, resulting from any violation of this Agreement (including negligent or wrongful conduct) by you or any other person using the site, the FencePress Plugin and FencePress Mobile Applications.

Terms of Service Changes

FencePress.com may modify this agreement at any time without direct notification. Such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified agreement on the site. You agree to review the agreement periodically to be aware of such modifications and your continued access or use of the site shall be deemed your conclusive acceptance of the modified agreement.
